Disney Uncut
Darkrai - Pokemon: Rise of Darkrai
[Actually Disney! Read bottom note!]
Character name: Darkrai
Test: Appearance: Darkrai looks like a dark, sinister ghost. His main body color is a deep midnight black. His head is a bit small compared to the rest of his body and his surrounded by an odd necklace that resemble crimson colored teeth. His eyes are a bright blue with white pupils and wisps of smoke float from his head, hiding most of his facial features. His club shaped arms are clawed and are a bit muscular, with parts appearing tattered. The top of his body is connected to the lower half by a tiny waist that seems squished by the upper half, giving him an hourglass shape. Parts of his body seem to evanessce into nothing like ribbons and the end. He appears to have no feet, though he is able to extend stilt-like appendages from his tattered-looking torso.
Personality: Legends told about Darkrai say that he torments dreamers on the night of the new moon, although these tales are quite false. Although he does have this power, he never uses it unless it is absolutely needed or if he is injured. Darkrai is naturally distrusting of people, as in the past no one ever shown him kindness due to the fear that he would induce horriffic nightmares when approached. However, this chain was broke when he met a young girl by the name of Alicia, of whom he became very protective of and a best friend to. He also is the "guardian" of Alicia's rule that the "..garden is everyone's", making sure that people who visit the garden aren't forced to leave and that no harm comes to it. He seems to be able to sense someone's intentions and if there is evil in their heart, though he doesn't fight unless they strike first.
He is very proud of himself and never asks for help, and even tries to escape when someone tries or offers to help. When falsely accused of something, he doesn't defend himself (or admit to it, for that matter) and prefers to just slink away into the shadows, unnoticed. Although he seems to prefer solitude, when someone tries to befriend him, he will actually warm up to them quite easily (as long as they aren't filled with malicious intentions) and defend them. Overall, Darkrai is a silent hero with a powerfull sense of justice, a silent personality, and a compassionate and self-sacrificing heart.
History: Darkrai is one of the Legendary Pokemon, meaning he is ageless. In Alamos Town he was injured and was unable to move in the garden owned by a young girl named Alicia's parents. She found Darkrai and was kind to him, surprisng the dark pokemon that a human was so kind to him. She told him that he could stay there, shocking Darkrai yet again. Still, he decided to stay- Alicia telling him that the garden belonged to everyone.
Years passed and Alicia passed away, sending Darkrai into somewhat of a depression. He hid in the shadows of Alamos town, never seen by another human for quite sometime- only appearing to save Alicia's grandaughter from falling of a cliff. Other than that he remained unseen. That was, until he sensed that Palkia and Dialga were going to destroy the city and ultimately the world with their fighting. He came out of hiding, which sent some people into nightmares- including a boy named Ash. However, he was trying to tell Ash of what was going to happen, rather than trying to torment the human.
Unfortunetly, the humans thought otherwise and a force to stop Darkrai was formed. He sent the trainer's Pokemon into nightmares as to stop the Pokemon from attacking him. Then it happened- Palkia and Dialga accidentally caused the town of Alamos to be teleported into an alternate dimension- the town quickly dissapearing. Fortunetly, Alicia's grandaughter, Alice, and Ash managed to find a certain song in the Space and Time towers which would calm the two Legendary beasts. But while Darkrai tried to keep the two at bay, he sacrificed himself- showing that he did have some good in him after all.
Luckily, he managed to survive their attacks and kept on watching over the humans' world in the shadows...waiting and watching.
Roleplay
The bright afternoon sunlight cast shadows all throughout the alleys of a rustic city, a dark figure swiftly drifting from each shadow. Silently, he slipped unnoticed past the garden walls. The large tree in the center of the garden was swaying lightly in the cool breeze as the shadow rested underneath the shade. A light song seemed to be carried in the breeze, the tune calming all who heard it. Though, only two people heard it- the player of the grasswhistle and the mysterious shadow that blended in oh, so well underneath the shade of the tree.
The shadow was actually the Legendary Beast known as Darkrai, the creature known to lure people into never-ending and horrific nightmares. Of course, this was quite unlike the scenes usually painted in the legends and story books. It was bright daylight, not the new moon, and he was not attacking the young girl who sat on the wooden swing continuing the song labeled "Oracion" which meant "prayer". Slowly lifting from the shadows, the beast began to materialize and show his form, which looked like an onyx black ghost. His otherworldly light blue eyes shown happiness, which he couldn't express through facial expressions as he had less of a face than most people and creatures did.
"Alicia...thank you. I feel truly at home here..." His gravely voice said with gratitude. The girl stopped playing for a moment to smile up at the ghostly figure. "Of course, Darkrai. This garden is everyone's." She told him once again. He felt wanted here, loved even. Darkrai stood next to her, closing his eyes in contentment as she began to play the song once again.
His black-ringed eyes shot open as he heard giggling and laughter nearby. It was all just a faint memory- long gone now. Alicia was dead, never able to come back. As the small children came closer to the tree and now rotting wooden swing, the shadow sped away- melting into the shadows and dissapearing from sight. He hadn't realized how long he had spent reminiscing in the garden and how late it had become. The sun was now setting and the sky was painted brillant orange and vermillion. He came to the outskirts of the town, where jagged mountains and rocky cliffs dotted the land. It was here where he paused, coming out of the shadows and looking out at the town- still able to see the garden from his perch.
"Alicia...why?" His voice was barely above a whisper and let a few tears fall. "You left me...alone. After you shown me kindness..." He spoke, though he knew it wasn't really her fault. He had loved her like family, even though he never had a family of his own. Darkrai sighed, knowing that he had to let the past go, but felt unable to do so. He sank back into the shadows, trying to hide his sadness and pain from the rest of the world- even if no one was watching him. No one liked nightmares. No one needed nightmares. No one needed him...

What do you think of us so far? I love it! =D
Questions, comments, suggestions? I understand if this is declined, because Pokemon isn't widely known as Disney. I just thought I'd give it a shot because other Pokemon movies are distributed by Disney and I read on the DVD case that Rise of Darkrai was, too. I'd just really love to play this character and thought I'd have a chance since characters that aren't Disney are accepted (and even a couple made-ups are, too). Oh, and this is Link/Barrel.
