~~~Who I am Inside~~~
What is your character's history? Are they a hero, or a villain, a sidekick or guardian? What has happened to them in their lives to make them the way they are today?
Tinkerbell is a sidekick. She has lived in the Land of the Fairies in Neverland, and been best friend to Peter Pan for many years. She has gone out and back from the “real” world to Neverland with Peter, to find new playmates for them to take back to Neverland. After spending some time away from Peter to visit other parts of Neverland, she returned to find that Peter had forgotten her. Angered and dismayed, she set out for the “real” world alone, hoping to find a new child to take back to Neverland, and to be a friend to.
Describe your character's personality. What are their strengths and weaknesses, what are their passions? What qualities do they have that are good or bad?
Tinkerbell is a typical pixie. She is passionate, but can only feel one feeling at a time, due to her size. At the moment, her anger towards Peter is clouding her judgment. She has some magical ability through the use of her pixie dust, which can help children fly and has a few other uses. Her main weakness is that she is of limited size and strength, and must rely on a larger playmate to help her. Also, only those who can understand the talk of fairies can understand her.
Tinkerbell can be very kind, or very wicked. She has a mischievous nature, and tends to feed off of the nature of her current playmate. She doesn’t like people who don’t believe in magic or fairies, and she can be cruel to those she doesn’t like. She is also fiercely jealous at times—her playmate is meant to be hers and no one elses.
~~~That's How You Know~~~
Give us a small sample of how you will play your character. Please don't copy a scene from their movie, and give us at least three paragraphs.
Tinkerbell flittered about, her light attributed by mortals as being a large firefly or reflection. She peered in windows, and danced around playgrounds. She needed a child. But not just any child—a Lost child. Someone unseen, and unwanted. A baby would be best, but it was so hard to find a baby unattended these days.
Her need made her think about Peter, and it made her tiny heart hurt. It is said that fairies, and pixies especially, can only feel one emotion at a time. That was mostly true. So whenever Tinkerbell thought of Peter, her feelings would go from angry to sad to hurt and back again, all very quickly. It was confusing, and she didn’t like it.
Well so much for him. Let him think her just another common fairy. She would find a new boy, or maybe a girl, and take them back to Neverland. And then things would be alright again.
~~~You and Me Together We'll Be~~~
Why this character? What draws you to them, what makes you want to play them? Do you have anything in common with them?
Faeries are sort of my thing. Just ask Horvath’s writer. And since Disney has yet to do A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I’ll have to forgo my dear Robin Goodfellow and play with Tink for a bit. I think it will be an interesting challenge—also, I love the idea of getting Tink back to her mischievous roots.
What would you like your custom title to be? This can be anything you like in reference to your character and will appear under your name.
Mischief Managed
Who else do you play here?
No one.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m a RPer, a writer, and a librarian. I love movies and stories and myths. I’ve always been a Disney fan, and I can’t wait to see what sort of stuff comes out of this site.
How did you find us?
Blame Horvath. It’s all her fault.
What do you think of the site so far?
Looks pretty good, though the blue-on-blue is kinda hard to read.
