~~~Who I am Inside~~~
HISTORY
Crane was first discovered as a janitor at a local school called the Lee Da Kung Fu Academy, where Kung Fu students trained to become masters, and where everbody looked down at him. You see, Crane dreamed of becoming a Kung Fu master himself, but lacked the 'required' structure, as the teacher often bullied him about. He was too skinny, and apparently didn't have muscles; not bulky enough to take any sort of hit without flying a few meters away as thought by the trainer. Crane wasn't qualified to learn the art of Kung Fu, or at least, that is what everyone thought. The bird didn't have much to offer, he already knew that, however, at the twist of events he was discovered by a student in the academy. He had been on janitorial duty when it had occured, but the top student, Mei Ling had spotted his potential skills and complimented him for it. Crane of course, lacking confidence politely shrugged the mountain cat off, who smiled in return. Mei Ling urged him to try out for the school, and although Crane was hesitant at first he couldn't refuse the suggestion.
When the day of the school try outs came, Crane made sure he didn't miss it for the world, but soon after arriving he couldn't stomach the hard hits the students were taking just to get a petite flag. He nearly left, but sucked it up and decided to stay, only to be laughed upon by the teacher and unsupportive trainees of the academy. Obviously, Crane was hurt and laughed the comments off as if he hadn't heard anything. He saw the sorrowful look in Mei Ling's eyes, but Crane was more ashamed of himself; disappointing the only friend he had. He was so lost in thought that when he started sweeping away lose teeth and broken pieces from the obstacle course, that he hadn't noticed that he had wandered into the obstacle course it self. Just like anybody, Crane was shocked, frightened and even dumb founded when a wooden spiked pillar came his way and he had managed to block it. He earned a good plently of confidence, over coming the obstacles in front of him by using his imagination and janitorial strengths. It didn't take long until Crane had his prized flag, and he passed the exam a new person.
Master Crane had been the first to hold a conversation with Po, although it turned out to be awkward. He was harsh at first, admitting that the panda did not belong 'here', meaning anything. Thinking that Po might've heard him out the wrong way, Crane quickly explained that Po didn't not belong in his room, and that the panda had his own quarters. He was touched by the dedication and determination of Po, accepting him more quickly than the rest of the Five had. Crane respected his new friend, because he knew how it felt to be different. Crane, would probably be considered a Guardian.
PERSONALITY
Often referred to as the 'mother hen' of the group despite being male, Crane is the most patient of the Five with a pint of sarcasm up his feathery wings. He's very honest, sometimes even brutally when it comes to hushing down fights from his ever differing comrades; he respects the silent atmosphere of the Jade Palace and will end any disagreements to keep the noise level to a minimum volume. He's fairly modest when it comes to impressing someone, unless a larger step is required. Also, if a situation gets out of hand he'll try to approach it with realistic measures. If anything, Crane knows the pain of trying to clean up after disaster falls. Yep, not very pretty.
Surprisingly he's strong enough to carry all of his four comrades, including himself although it can be very energy draining if ever caught in a fight and whatnot. Crane will scan the area if possible to try and look for an advantage he and his colleagues could use during a battle, and the depths of the area, and how fast he will be able to get to his friends if they were to fall in such extreme heights. He has great balance, and would often use his wings to his advantage to gain more speed. Despite the fact having a tremendous amount of skills, Crane's not much of a talker among his group of friends. He mostly likes to think of himself as a shoulder for the rest of the Five to lean on through tough times, and he's much too obedient giving the advantage of others to order him around if they like. He doesn't mind, although he uses his talons for almost everything, and whenever he'd settle into his room to do some calligraphy his legs would constantly give out since they were tired. Crane still lacked some confidence in him, and is often easily hurt by harsh words.

SAMPLE
It came as a wake up call, the creek of old wooden floorboards and the ear shattering snap! Needless to say it was Po, to point out the obvious and if it hadn't been for the panda, Crane would have had a peaceful night of no interruptions. He was hoping too much, too much. He wasn't alone, however, as his colleagues had never liked sleepless nights thanks to their newly recruited comrade; or as the town folks liked to call him, the Dragon Warrior. Everybody was dreaming. It was true that Crane had befriended Po first, and despite the fact that the bear can be so bothersome, most days had been more golden than before. Before, it was gloomy and the Jade Palace seemed to look deserted, no light to shine on its old trinkets, but when Po stepped into his life; the Furious Five's lives everything changed - for the better. There was just some nights, that drove him and everybody else crazy. This, was one of them.
He raised a brow at the silence that started to linger into his room; it was very unusual since Po's nightly prowl tended to draw out into a minute or two, but tonight had been quicker than usual. Crane drew his head away from the warmth of his feathers and flapped his tired wings gently, staring at the entrance of his room; hoping for some sort of resuming noise but nothing came and it felt awkward. Then suddenly, a manly, yet bloody murder scream nearly knocked him over from fright. It was Mantis, and the rest of the Five slid their doors open to take a peek at what has happened; Crane repeated the process. He almost laughed at the sight.
"P-po?" He stuttered, unable to keep his laughter concealed much further; he and Monkey exploded with uncontrolled laughter, along with Mantis who had been frightened before. Viper joined in, giggling softly while Tigress' face contorted into a speechless expression; her jaw agape. Po had fallen through the floorboards, whole and his petite ears seemed to shrunk until Mantis commented on how ridiculously entertaining the panda was. Then Po too, laughed. "Come on, let's get you out of there." And Crane did, with the help of his comrades.

WHY? His love for calligraphy, mostly. I was intrigued when I saw Crane scrolling down a Chinese character in the film, Kung Fu Panda, and I've adored him ever since. His love for art struck me, and enticed me to research about Red-Crowned cranes, and how well they use their balance and talons to enhance their survival skills if necessary. People could say that Crane and I have something in common; we both love art, and the art of flight. I love birds, although my mom has a phobia of some, but they inspire me to make art; to draw more birds. And David Cross is just plain funny as a stand-up comedian, despite the fact that he swears a lot o-o;;

Tell us a little bit about yourself. Err, there's not much. I used to play the trumpet... wait, never mind. I like codes, so I tend to do a lot of coding although I'm still starting at it. I make graphics? I don't know, but I've been lazy nowadays so they may not come as often as they used to. Other than that, I'm really hyper and lack confidence in my grammar so please go easy on me i~i.
