~~~Who I am Inside~~~
What is your character's history? Are they a hero, or a villain, a sidekick or guardian? What has happened to them in their lives to make them the way they are today?
Audrey was born in 1896 to Manuel and Ana Ramirez. Along with her twin sister Jacqueline, they were a small close knit family. Manuel loved his daughters, but he had always wanted sons, to run his auto shop when he retired, and to become a boxing champion. But after carrying two babies at once, Ana didn't have the strength to go through another pregnancy.
Audrey and her sister decided at an early age that they'd show their father that they'd be better than any son. Audrey found her passion in mechanics, and came with her father to his shop, while Jackie took lessons on boxing and watched as many matches as she could.
By the time she was fifteen, Audrey knew more than enough about mechanics to impress her father's former employers, Preston Whitmore and Commander William Rourke. She was hired in her father's position after he retired, and became a member of the crew that would eventually discover the lost city of Atlantis.
Describe your character's personality. What are their strengths and weaknesses, what are their passions? What qualities do they have that are good or bad?
Audrey is anything but a girly girl. She knows more about mechanics than most guys around, and would much rather be wearing her coveralls and white t-shirt, lying underneath a vehicle with tools in her hands than wearing a skirt and applying lipstick.
She's very tough, and can hold her own in a fight. She hates it when people sell her short because she's a girl, but it is perhaps because of people like who push Audrey to be so good at what she does.
More than anything, Audrey is protective of the people she loves. She's a great friend, and isn't afraid to stick out her neck.

Give us a small sample of how you will play your character. Please don't copy a scene from their movie, and give us at least three paragraphs.
Audrey walked into the garage, her brown eyes fixed on a 1917 Chevorlet, V8 engine. Smoke was seeping out of the hood as she slipped her gloves on and lifted the latch.
Coughing from the sudden busrt of smoke that billowed out, Audrey stepped back and waited for it to clear. She moved forward, peering into the engine as a sudden shout caught her attention.
A young man strode towards her, an angry look on his face. Another mechanic was right on his heels, trying to bring him back to the waiting area.
"I don't want a chick touching my car!" He yelled, glaring at Audrey, who met his gaze with an equally furious stare.
"Retroceda tipo!" She snapped. "Do you want me to fix your car or not?"
"What does a girl know about a car?" He demanded.
"I can tell you right now it's a cracked radiator." Audrey said. "And if I'm wrong, I'll fix it for free."
"Fine." He snapped back.
"Papi!" Audrey called.
"Yes, mija?" Manuel answered, raising his head from the Model T he was working on.
"Tell him what's wrong with his car."
Manuel walked over and looked at the engine. He reached inside, tapping at a gear here and there before moving back.
"It's a cracked radiator." He said with no amount of uncertainty. He raised his eyes to the dumbfounded young man who stood beside his daughter, who was making no effort to hide the 'told you so' look on her face. "Now, why don't you head back to the waiting room and let her do her job?"
With nothing to say, the customer turned and walked back. Audrey bent back over the engine, muttering to herself about chauvanistic men. Her father gave a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
"Don't mind him, mija." He said. "You know you're the best at this job."
Audrey looked up to give her father a grateful smile.
"Thanks, Papi."

Why this character? What draws you to them, what makes you want to play them? Do you have anything in common with them?
Audrey is sweet, sassy, and tough. We have simular attitudes, and both of us are sometimes a little too impatient for our own good.
There's also a few key differences between Audrey and me that I think will make her an interesting challenge. One is, I don't speak Spanish, so any time I have her speaking that language, I've gone to babelfish. Another thing is I don't know a thing about cars, except how to change the oil. I'll have to research a bit on those aspects, but I do think Audrey will be a lot of fun.
