~~~Who I am Inside~~~
What is your character's history? Are they a hero, or a villain, a sidekick or guardian? What has happened to them in their lives to make them the way they are today?
Angela was still an egg when an attack on Castle Wyvern from the Vikings left all but a handful of the clan destroyed. She and her rookery brothers and sisters were saved by the Princess Katherine and her trusted friend and guide, the Magus, and a young boy named Tom while the remaining gargoyles were frozen in stone sleep.
She was hatched on Avalon in 1058. She was raised by her human friends, and grew up hearing the stories of Goliath and his clan defending the humans. She herself proved to be a fierce warrior, the second in command to her brother Gabriel.
It wasn't until 1995 when she met Goliath himself did her adventures begin. She helped Goliath, Bronx, and Elisa defeat the Archmage, an evil sorcerer. She became curious about the world that Goliath knew, and decided to leave Avalon and go to New York.
Angela would prove her worth with her strength in battle as well as her brilliant mind. Her quick wit lead to the defeat of several enemies they would encounter on their journey. It was also on the Avalon quest that she found out that Goliath was her father, and his former mate, Demona was her mother.
Describe your character's personality. What are their strengths and weaknesses, what are their passions? What qualities do they have that are good or bad?
Angela desired a father-daughter relationship with Goliath, and was devastated when he continuously berated her for it. He claimed the clan's tradition was to look on all gargoyles as parental figures, but the fact that Demona was her mother likely had more to do with it. However, after having a conversation with Elisa's mother in Nigeria, Goliath finally came around and accepted Angela as his daughter.
Angela was easily accepted into the Manhattan clan, particularly by the Trio, who each competed for her affections. She finally let them know (in no uncertain terms) that she was not something to fight over, and that she liked all three of them. It would be Broadway she eventually chose as her mate.
The thing that Angela has trouble with most in present day Manhattan is the human's treatment of her and the clan. After spending her entire life living peacefully and happily with humans, she can't understand why she is suddenly feared and hated.
Another painful thing for Angela to accept is the fact that her mother is a sworn enemy of the Manhattan clan. As with Goliath, she wants a relationship with Demona. Demona was more willing to accept her as her daughter than Goliath initially was, but the hatred towards humans is something Angela wants nothing to do with.
Angela always fully supportive of Goliath and Elisa's relationship. She sees Elisa as her sister rather than a stepmother figure, but is very close to the detective, and respects her a great deal.

Give us a small sample of how you will play your character. Please don't copy a scene from their movie, and give us at least three paragraphs.
The impressive buildings of the New York City skyline seemed to reach the sky as it was splashed with orange hues as the fading sun was setting beyond the horizon. An impressive looking gargoyle with wild hair was focused on the city, as if she were guarding it against any attacks from outside, or inside.
The last rays of the sun melted away, and the stone cracked, shedding away from the now lavender skined gargoyle. With a roar and a stretch of her wings, the remaining stone slabs fell from her body, and her red glowing eyes dimmed to a cool coal color.
Angela glanced around in confusion. She wasn't at the castle atop the Eyrie building, and the rest of the clan was no where in sight. Had someone moved her in her sleep? Who would do such a thing, and why? Where was her father and Hudson? What about Bronx and the rest of the trio?
Spreading her wings to take flight, Angela leaped of the building towards Elisa's apartment. Perhaps she'd be able to help her. Coming to the building, Angela landed on the deck and peered inside the window. Panic slammed into her as she took in the empty apartment. She took flight again, unsure of where she'd go. Where was everyone? The clan was nowhere to be found, and it seemed as though no one had lived in Elisa's apartement for ages.
Angela was so consumed by worry for her clan, that she hadn't even considered the fact that she wasn't doing a good job of staying out of sight. Anyone below would easily see her.

Why this character? What draws you to them, what makes you want to play them? Do you have anything in common with them?
Angela is a great character. Her compassion matches mine, and her confusion over pointless hatred is something I can definitely relate to as well. She's strong and brave, and fiercely loyal to her friends and family.
