(maybe I was exaggerating a little. Here's just a little something for what I got up to during my holiday in the Lake District with my charries) Day 1We woke up at 4am, or something like that. I'm not a morning person, and I didn't even realise there was such a time as this. We managed to get all our luggage in the car and then drive up to my aunt's, as she was driving us up to the Lake District. I managed to pass Zira off as a dog (she was most displeased) and sat her in the back; the man at the toll gate at Dartmoor Tunnel gave us a very strange look. Anya managed to share my seat and legroom (which there wasn't much, seeing as the car was full up) and Sawyer sat on my lap, but then there was the problem of Pegasus and Marty. Pegasus flew alongside us, and in the end I strapped Marty to the top box. He whined all the way to Manchester and only when I bought him an extra large Big Mac and fries did he shut up. Then I had to break it to him that we weren't going to San Francisco - a journey in itself.
We finally managed to get there, and after many stiff legs and shouting got unpacked and settled in. Everyone slept very well that night, except perhaps the two equines, who spent the night in the coal shed - there was only so much room on my bed! more coming soon =D

LMAO, OH, I MUST READ MORE!!
I get zapped, strangled, screamed at, zapped (again), chewed on and assaulted when I try to take my chars with me anywhere.

Day 2In typical Saturday morning style we all got up late. I entertained Anya by letting her watch Friends - she finds American lifestyle fascinating (I had to explain most of the jokes though) and it was one of the only channels we got though. We went out to one of the towns to get some stuff for the holiday, I left my charries at home, the stress was too much. When I got back I found that Sawyer and Anya had managed to fill up the wardrobe and most of the cupboard with their clothes, leaving me one tiny drawer. At about 4pm Pegasus and Marty emerged from the coal shed (they got locked in - oops!) and I had to give them both a bath because they were both sooty. Marty got cross because I kept scrubbing at his stripes thinking they were coal soot as well! We built a fire that night and Zira and Sawyer stretched out in front of it and looked quite happy for once, except when Zira used Sawyer's tail as a pillow. Sleeping was again, quite uncomfortable, as Marty and Pegasus refused to sleep outside again. In the end one slept in the wardrobe and one in the bath. I think they swapped overnight too.
