Before you judge me, try hard to love me, Look within your heart then ask, Have you seen my Childhood? Michael always felt closest to this song because, well, it defined who he was. And now that he's gone, I hope you all take the moment in his honor to hear the song he adored writing/singing.
The world's Peter Pan, the King of Pop, is dead. May he rest in peace. Amen. Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for the world that I come from 'Cause I've been looking around In the lost and found of my heart... No one understands me They view it as such strange eccentricities... 'Cause I keep kidding around Like a child, but pardon me... People say I'm not okay 'Cause I love such elementary things... It's been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood I've never known... Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for that wonder in my youth Like pirates in adventurous dreams, Of conquest and kings on the throne... Before you judge me, try hard to love me, Look within your heart then ask, Have you seen my Childhood? People say I'm strange that way 'Cause I love such elementary things, It's been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood I've never known... Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for that wonder in my youth Like fantastical stories to share The dreams I would dare, watch me fly... Before you judge me, try hard to love me. The painful youth I've had Have you seen my Childhood...

*hugs Nani*
That was a beautiful tribute, Nani. The banner is absolutely stunning.
When I heard of his tragic death, the first song that came to my mind was Will You Be There.
Reading some of the blogs online caused a mixture of tears at the caring tributes and raw sick anger at the cruel comments of others. No one deserves to die. Whether or not he was guilty of the crimes he was accused of is between him and God. All I know is a fellow human being has died, and left behind people he loved, and thousands if not millions of people who loved him. He and everyone else affected by his tragic death deserve compassion, not judgment.
Hold me Like the River Jordan And I will then say to thee You are my friend
Carry me Like you are my brother Love me like a mother Will you be there
Oh, love
Weary Tell me, will you hold me When wrong will you scold me When lost will you find me
But they told me A man should be faithfull And walk when not able And fight 'til the end But I'm only human
Everyone's taking control of me Seems that the world's Got a role for me I'm so confused Will you show to me You'll be there for me And care enough to bear me
(Hold me) Show me (Lay your head lowly) Show me (Softly then boldly) Yeah (Carry me there) I'm only human
(Lead me) Hold me (Love me and feed me) Yeah, yeah (Kiss me and free me) Yeah, yeah (I will feel blessed) I'm only human
(Carry) Carry (Carry me boldly) Carry (Lift me up slowly) Yeah (Carry me there) I'm only human
(Save me) Lead me (Heal me and bathe me) Lift me up, lift me up (Softly you'll say to me) (I will be there) I will be there
(Lift me) Hold me, yeah (Lift me up slowly) (Carry me boldly) Yeah (Show me you care) I will be there
(Hold me) (Lay your head lowly) I get lonely sometimes (Softly, then boldly) I get lonely, yeah, yeah (Carry me there) Carry me there
(Need me) (Love me and feed me) Lift me up, hold me up (Kiss me and free me) Lift me up sometime, up sometime (I will feel blessed) Yeah
Spoken: In our darkest hour In my deepest despair Will you still care Will you be there In my trials And my tribulations
Through our doubts And frustrations In my violence In my turbulence Through my fear And my confessions In my anguish and my pain Through my joy and my sorrow In the promise Of another tomorrow I'll never let you part For you're always in my heart

I'm so upset about it. Those were brilliant tributes. ^^ I see him as such a gentle, mis-understood soul who didn't deserve all the pain, deceit and suffering he went through. So talented, and so wonderful. There's a gaping hole that he's left and he will be missed forever.

Excellent tributes, guys.
I personally, loved [and still love] his music. Wasn't a fan of him much recently, but I greatly respect him and loved the fact he was making a comeback. I adored him for how talented he was, and he had a lot of pressure put on him [mostly by the media], which wasn't fair. People can blame him for things, but they shouldn't. I am so sorry that he's died, and I'm in tears as I'm writing this. No deserves to die, especially not him, at such a young age too. He made and left a dazzling mark in music, entertainment and, most importantly, the millions of people who are gathered now in his name.
Rest In Peace, Michael Jackson. May you be at peace now, and remember, we love you.
</3
The End of a wonderful, talented man.

I honestly couldn't stomach it when I head the news on Thursday.
For me, MJ's one of those great artists that seem immortal in my eyes. He made an amazing legacy, and I can only hope that future generations will enjoy his upbeat, sassy music.
I had just come back from the beach when I heard the news, and so my cousins and I held a memorial service... the only way we know how to do memorial services.
Blast Michael Jackson's boldest and best for the neighborhood to hear.
Yup, we got a few noise complaints.
Anyway, here's to a pop legend that kept me dancing. Turn it up!

Lol Jim, I actually think that's pretty awesome. The best thing we can do for Michael is to play his songs, and create banners, like Nani, and remember him as the musical genius and icon he was. We need to celebrate his life, rather than just mourn his loss.

I had gotten in the car after my junior prom when I heard the news. So at the after-party, we kept the music channel on the whole time where it was playing all of his videos.
The memorial service broke my heart, especially when his daughter, Paris, spoke. She was so brave to do that in front of everyone.
He's an icon, and we'll all remember him.

I was holding it in during the memorial service, until Paris spoke. She was way too young to lose her father, and it just made my heart break.

I can't believe he's gone. These two songs were always my favorite
and
He was a very cool dancer i must say. Though whenever he was a young kid he was always black. But he doesn't sound black to me, he always sounded like he was a white man. (Trying not to be racist here or anything). But anyway, he was a great dancer, and a wonderful singer. May Michael rest in peace. God bless his children and his body.

He was so insanely multi-talented, especially in the creative and artistic parts, whatever he did, he was always the best at it. Oh my gosh, when Paris took to the microphone I think my heart shattered, it just made the whole thing more real. It's not fair.

My favourite was "They Don't Really Care About Us". And for those of you who liked Britain's Got Talent, you should check out MD Showgroup - they used his songs or at least covers, God bless them. Here is an AMAZING video I found of Disney's Smooth Criminals - www.youtube.com/watch?v=umWh3CLtv8o&feature=related

Perfect example of what I mentioned earlier about simply honoring Micheal Jackson. Coming from these guys, this is just so random and unexpected, but so cool that they did it. The guys who are never supposed to smile or move or anything actually played Thriller at the Changing of the Guard.

Awh, that's so lovely! Michael touched so many people, it was amazing. I honestly don't know how he did it. He had such a powerful aura about him. Such a mystery.
