Tinkerbell smiled, and fluttered up and over to the bookcase. She was especially good at fixing things. As she passed Anna, she stuck out her tongue and turned her nose up at the mortal. She'd like to see her tinker like the fairy. She'd probably break a nail and cry.

Anna blinked and cocked her head at her master. "Uh, boss?" she asked. "Any particular reason I'm getting snubbed by a pixie? Why do you even have a pixie? I thought you had a thing about fairies."

"Pixies get cranky when they think their partner is friends with someone else," Horvath with a shrug. "And I have a thing about the bigger faeries. Hobgoblins and the like." He grimaced. Hobgoblins in particular, actually. "Tinkerbell is quite useful. I found her flitting around about a week ago. I like her particular brand of humor."

Anna shrugged. "O-kay," she said. She took her feet off of the table and pushed herself up with the armrests. "Well, if you don't need me for anything else, I'm gonna go change and go out on the town. Thrasher is playing down at the Handlebar, and it's supposed to be a totally killer set. That, and I heard their bass player has a thing for red heads." She grinned, putting her messenger bag over her chest.
"So, we good?"

He wasn't entirely certain what a 'killer set' was supposed to be, but he presumed that it had something to do with the music she loved so much. He nodded.
"Yes, we're good," he replied. That much slang he'd picked up, at least. He was learning, slowly. "Enjoy yourself. Don't do anything I wouldn't."

Anna gave him a playful grin. "I'm making no promises, old man." After all, Drex had tried to get her number a couple of times before. And after all this work, she was ready to play.
Giving him a salute, she headed for the door.
