still with a bright smile at his face, Quasi let the creature pick up all the pieces, happily noticing his two companions appeared to be as happy for this as he was.
lighthearted for the first time that day, he watched as the blue fellow placed the pieces together in their right places. Even the sun seemed to suddenly shine brighter than before.
The hunchback reached out a hand to gently scratch his new little helper behind the ear, muttering a quiet thank you.
Still a little worried the pieces may not quite stick together, he picked up Laverne as he got back up on his feet.
Gently he placed a hand on Nani`s shoulder, noticing her nervous glances towards the old gargoyle. Don`t worry, they won`t harm anyone, he reassured her softly.
So.. do you two know each other? he asked curious, shifting his gaze between them, noticing how they interacted as old friends.

“We do.” Nani picked up the bowl of shattered pieces from the table beside her and pieced them together, then set it back in its place. “We’re kind of rocky, so I'm not gonna say we're close...” Her white teeth flashed. “But I guess you could say we’re friends for this occasion.”
She tucked her brown hair behind her ear and sighed, giving Stitch a little wistful smile, eyes narrowing playfully through her tough talk. She loved Stitch; she rarely displayed such affection, though. Speaking of which, the alien looked back at her sheepishly with lowered ears, now flat against his round head. He understood that they had a strange relationship - stranger than fiction, in fact (don’t get the wrong idea).
She hesitantly reached out and placed a hand on Victor’s cheek. She was forever impressed with it all. Nani, quite suddenly, looked to the damaged gargoyle and cracked a sympathetic smile. “You must need an aspirin after that fall, huh?” asked the tender Hawaiian, tone laced with good-natured humor.
“I don’t know how I could handle something like this.” Said Nani quietly, hoping Laverne understood her gentle praise.

Quasi listened with a small smile as Nani explained the relationship between her and the little blue creature.
With a quick glance to Laverne who flapped her wings testing once she was glued together, Quasi bent down to gently pick up Stitch.
Thank you, both of you, he smiled warmly to the alien and the Hawaiian, scratching Stitch gently behind his ears.
I have to agree and say i am eternally grateful for the returnal of our friend here, Victor added.
Pffth what`s the fuss? I`m completely fine, Laverne shrugged them all off with a smile.
Ya know, Hugo scratched his head thoughtfully. Sure little blue isn`t really one of us? He kinda reminds me of Uncle Ed, he spoke slowly, referring to one of the gargoyles that long time ago had stiffened into a death like coma, never to move again.
