*Cookie Monster - Sesame Street*
Character name: Cookie Monster
Appearance: Having a very simple appearance, Cookie monster is about half the size of a normal adult. He is completely covered in blue fur and "googly" eyes, plus an insatiable appetite. He says all Cookie Monsters are this way, though he has also said that there are no more cookie monsters besides him, too.
Personality: As is obvious by his name, Cookie loves cookies- though he can (and quite often does) eat anything and everything. When he does so, he usually makes his famous "OMNOMNOM" noise. Cookie Monster speaks in broken English, though he has been known to use a very complex vocabulary. When younger, Cookie was very fussy when he didn't get his way- as most children do. He often gets distracted by his appetite and can loose sight of what he is doing, though really means no harm to anyone and is very silly.
History: Cookie Monster's first appearance was sometime in the first season of Sesame Street, usually acting as a toddler who got in the way of everything without meaning to and getting upset when he didn't get his way. He was even scolded by Kermit when he ate the frog's propert- being called a "big dumb monster" and "the nastiest person [he] knew". Soon however, Cookie became a beloved member of Sesame Street and even began to host the Letter of the Day segments in more recent shows, however he ends up eating the letter anyway. Since then, Cookie Monster has appeared on popular TV shows such as The Today show, where he said cookies are a "sometimes food", and The Colbert Report, where he ate Stephen Colbert's Peabody Award.
Roleplay
"OMNOMNOMNOM!" The blue furry monster said loudly as he chomped down a large chocolate chip cookie, sending crumbs and bits of chocolate everywhere. A few other people in the restaurant looked strangely at Cookie Monster as he finished up his snack. Picking up a napkin, he wiped his mouth before gulping down that as well. However, through the sound of the monster's voracious munching, a loud and cheerfull giggle was heard.
Looking over, he seen a wife and husband holding their baby son, who was watching Cookie Monster with big blue eyes and a joyful smile. "Oh! Baby! Me love babies!" He said, walking towards the child- whose parents didn't look frightened but more confused and bewildered. "Me remember when me was baby." He said to himself, nodding and looking up at the parents.
"Me think me was named Sid back then, -" Cookie Monster suddenly stopped in the middle of his sentance when the small boy shoved a pasaphire into his large mouth. The baby giggled wildly, clapping his hands when Cookie looked at him surprisedly, before "noming" down the pasaphire as well- which only made the boy laugh even more, as well as his parents. Any kid that knew Cookie Monster knew that all monsters weren't that scary.
